Basmati Rice - 250 gms; Onions - 3; Tomato - 2; Chilli powder - ½ tsp; Turmeric powder - ½tsp; Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp; Cream - ½ cup; Tablespoon Shahi Biryani Masala - 2 tbsp; Vegetables - 1½ cup
1. Boil rice in 1tbsp ghee & kesar and set aside.
2. Take oil in a pan, fry ginger-garlic paste and sliced onions till brown. Add vegetables, chilli and turmeric powder, Tablespoon Shahi Biryani Masala and tomato puree. Cook till oil separates. Then add cream/ milk and cook for 5 min.
3. In a greased vessel add layers of rice and vegetables alternately. Season it with 2 tbsp ghee and turmeric. Garnish with mint leaves. Serve hot with raita.
